The Good Inbox

Kill the Newsletter

Turns any newsletter into an RSS/Atom feed — open source and free.

Kill the Newsletter — Newsletter Reader

Kill the Newsletter does exactly what it promises: it takes newsletters out of your inbox and turns them into feeds you can read anywhere. For each publication it generates a unique email address and an associated Atom feed; you subscribe to the newsletter with that address, and every issue arrives as a new entry in your RSS reader.

The result is total separation between correspondence and reading: your inbox is left for real conversations, and bulletins live in your feed reader (Reeder, NetNewsWire, Feedly or whichever you use), with their own reading rhythm and no unread badges in your email.

It's free, open-source and self-hostable software: use the public instance or deploy it on your own server to control the full infrastructure. A minimalist classic of the intentional-reading ecosystem.
